BBBSA Awards lump sum to BBBSOK for 2009

BBBSOK receives a grant to carry out its strategic business plan

BBBSA has awarded BBBSOK a grant of $162,500.  The grant  will assist in the implementation of the agency's strategic business plan during calendar year 2009.  Funds will be paid in equal monthly amounts starting in January 2009 and ending in December 2009.  This grant was awarded because of BBBSOK's consistent growth in matched children and excellent quality ratings in length of match, retention rate, and match support. 

 

BBBSOK was one of only three agencies across the country that qualified to apply for funding in all qualifying categories:  truancy prevention, Native American mentoring, and Hispanic mentoring.
