03/24/2009

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma--Have you ever wanted an opportunity to hang out with your favorite Sports Hero from OU or OSU? This is your chance! Sports Heroes, past and present, will be raising money and bowling at the First Ever Bedlam Bowl. Paricipants can bid on their opportunity to bowl with their favorite coach or player from OU or OSU. Only 30 spots available for this exclusive Bedlam event!

Bidding starts March 23rd and players only have 2 weeks to get their winning bid in. Bids will be accepted until 11pm CST Sunday, April 5, 2009. Big Brothers Big Sisters will then call the highest bidders and they will be able to join their hero and bowl together at Bedlam Bowl! Winning bidders can bring up to 4 people as guests to cheer them on. Guests will be charged a $35 cover charge which will include entry into the exclusive event as well as food and drinks, excluding alcohol.

Bowlers can get a chance to team up with heroes like OU Basketball alums Renzi Stone, Tim Heskett, Kevin Bookout and Brent Price. They can also team up with OSU's Athletic Director Mike Holder or current OSU basketball stars James Anderson and Obi Muonelo.

All interested can go to www.bfksokc.org and click on 'Bedlam Bowl'. Then they make online bids on favorite Cowboy sports heroes or Sooner sports heroes and keep track! If they can't afford the current bid on a sports hero, they may pick one of the other All-star members from the OU and OSU teams rosters to guarantee a spot at the event! This way, no one has to be left out.

When Bowl for Kids' Sake runs throughout March and April, thousands of bowlers across the Oklahoma City metro come together to raise money and support Big Brothers Big Sisters. Through bowlers, volunteers, and sponsors, Bowl for Kids' Sake touches more than 30,000 people across Oklahoma. That's why Bowl for Kids' Sake is Oklahoma's #1 Campaign for Kids!
