Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma (BBBSOK) provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Approximately 35% of the children we serve each year through “Big” and “Little” matches are children of incarcerated parents, but an estimated 27,000 Oklahoma children coping with parental incarceration need our help. BBBSOK recently learned expected federal funding for mentoring children of incarcerated parents will be eliminated October 1. If we are unable to replace this funding, we will serve fewer children in all of our programs. With your donation today, you join our Call-to-Action awareness campaign and our $500,000 Statewide Annual Giving Drive and help us provide critical funding for our successful mentoring programs.
