Sharla Hall Owens
Chief Executive Officer

Sharla was appointed CEO by the BBBSOK Governing Board in 2009. Before becoming CEO, Sharla was responsible for all the resource development functions in her former role as Vice President for Resource Development. Sharla has served in development positions at the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee, Oklahoma; as Associate Director of Institutional Advancement at St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee and as Development Coordinator at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Her most recent position was as Development Manager at the Philbrook Museum of Art. Her responsibilities included developing, coordinating and implementing comprehensive and fully integrated development strategies.


Rob Smariga
Chief Operating Officer

Rob joined BBBSOK as COO in February 2009 and has nineteen years of non-profit experience in the areas of building membership-based organizations, improving marketing to new and existing members, enabling staff development, and providing sound financial management. Prior to joining BBBSOK, he served as director of operations for the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors in Atlanta, GA. He holds an M.A. in non-profit management from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in social sciences from John Hopkins University and is a Certified Association Executive. He is a current Big Brother in Tulsa and was a Big Brother in Atlanta for four years.


Holly Kreidler
Chief Development Officer

Holly has more than 11 years of non-profit fundraising and management experience and supervises resource development initiatives and activities for our statewide system. Before joining the BBBSOK staff as Chief Development Officer in November 2009, she served in development positions at the United Way of Central Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, and served as Director, Major Gifts and Grants and most recently Executive Director of Development at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma. She has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Liberal Studies degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Leadership Edmond Class XXI, Leadership Oklahoma Class XXIII, is a member of the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals, is on the board of Edmond Beautiful, and is a Rotarian.
